Florencio Varela

El primer abogado de la familia fue Florencio Varela (1807-1848). Su hija, María Varela, se casó con otro abogdo, Cosme Beccar, nacido en 1837. Su cuñado, Mariano Varela, también abogado, y que fuera Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores del Gobierno del Presidente Domingo F. Sarmiento, fue el primero en organizar el Estudio. De allí en más, el nombre Beccar Varela permaneció asociado al ámbito legal en Argentina.

El Estudio C & C Beccar Varela resulta de una división del Estudio ocurrida en el año 1979. Tanto la tradición de excelencia como la experiencia adquirida en tantos años fueron mantenidas. Hoy en día, la lista de clientes de C & C Beccar Varela incluye compañías industriales y de servicios de importancia mundial.  The first lawyer in the family was Mr. Florencio Varela (1807-1848). Florencio Varela's daughter María Varela married a lawyer, Mr Cosme Beccar (1837-1890).

 Two of the children of Cosme Beccar and María Varela were also lawyer: Horacio Beccar Varela (1875-1949) and Adrían Beccar Varela (1880-1929), thus continuing the legal practice in the family.

Our firm was established by Mr Cosme Beccar Varela (1912-1987) and Mr Cosme Beccar Varela Jr (born 1938) son and a grandson of Horacio. In 1989 the firm added a great-grandson of Horacio: Mr Cosme María Beccar Varela (born 1961).

Both the tradition off excellence as the experience gained in so many years were maintained. Today, the list of customers of C & C Beccar Varela includes industrial and service companies of a worldwide importance.
